The adventure continues! In Part 2 of our Atlantic crossing series, we take on one of the most exciting and challenging legs of the journey β€” flying from Greenland to Iceland, and then across to Scotland, officially completing our eastbound crossing.

We start the day in Greenland, suiting up once again in those ever-fashionable Gumby suits (you can tell how thrilled Lisa was about that!). This leg took us over 700 nautical miles β€” half across Greenland’s endless ice fields and half over the frigid waters of the North Atlantic.

Like any true adventure, there were surprises along the way β€” an unexpected AHARS issue, intense radio procedures, and the feeling of total isolation while hundreds of miles from land. But as the ice gave way to green, we finally caught sight of Iceland, and soon after, Scotland β€” marking the successful completion of our eastbound crossing.

From crosswinds to glacier rides, the second chapter of our journey blends breathtaking scenery with a few tense cockpit moments that every pilot will appreciate.
